Hello there, lovely couples and fellow dreamers! I’m Amber, the heart and soul behind Hazel Lyn Events. When you choose to entrust the planning of your wedding to someone, you’re not just hiring a service; you’re inviting a person to become a part of one of the most intimate and significant days of your life. So, let me share a little bit about myself and how I came to do what I absolutely love.
From Number Cruncher to Dream Maker
In 2014, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. It wasn’t long before I landed a job at a private company, where I spent five years diligently crunching numbers. But, let’s just say, Excel spreadsheets couldn’t hold a candle to the joy I found in designing table spreads for weddings.
The Birth of a Passion
Being a bridesmaid in over 25 weddings (yes, you read that right!), I discovered that my heart beats faster for flower arrangements and floor plans than it ever did for balance sheets. So, I switched gears and channeled my logistical prowess into a career that would allow me to make lasting emotional imprints—wedding planning.

I love being a part of your wedding day, and am lucky to support Amber in making your event run smoothly and stress-free. I’m there on the day of your event to help with everything from the little details of your vision to the big moments! I’ll set the tables, dab your mascara, retrieve your missing veil or bouquet in 30 seconds or less, make sure Grandma is comfortable, vacate the reception for your private last dance, and anything else imaginable before, after, and in-between! I have adored weddings since before Reality TV ever existed! You can still catch me watching wedding shows, and spending tons of time with my family, taxiing kids around, and watercolor painting.
